ORDERING
How do I order?
Simply cart out the item in the preferred size and colour and proceed to check out once you have added your desired items to your cart.
Do I need to have an account before purchasing?
No, you will not need an account. You may proceed to purchase and cart out as a guest.
I have problems carting out an item.
You will be able to cart out the item as long as it is available on our site. If you are unable to cart out the items, the item might be out of stock. Do check back on the item shown on the website by refreshing the link.
How do I pay for my order?
Currently we only accept payments made via Paypal (credit cards)
I have a discount coupon, how can I use it in paying for my order?
Do quote the code under "Discount Code" which can be found at the Check Out Page.
Can I amend or cancel my order after confirming it?
We are unable to make amendments to your order once it has been confirmed. This will allow us to process your orders as quickly as possible.
Why cant I locate the page to key in my payment details?
Please contact our CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM if the Paypal link does not work.
SHOPPING
Will an item be restocked?
Restocks will be available if there are extras from backorders.
To be notified when the item is back in stock, please join our waiting list by submitting your name, item name and email address on the product page and click "Join Waiting List" option.
Do you provide international shipping?
Yes, we do provide International Shipping via Aramex services. The flat-rate charges will be calculated at check out.
What is a backorder?
A backorder will arrive in 4-5 weeks’ time. We will place the order with our factory first before launching in online. Once launched, there are limited slots available for each size/style, simply add the item into your cart and check out. This backorder does not close unless all slots are taken up (sold out). If there is demand, a second backorder maybe open. The item will be mailed to you upon the arrival of its shipment. Kindly check the estimated date of arrival here .
We do our best to ensure that the backorders arrive within the stipulated time. However, there are times where we experience delays due to unforeseen circumstances like weather (typhoon) or custom port checks. We will inform you if such a situation arises via email.
How do I purchase a backorder item?
You will be able to find the items that are currently listed on here .backorder page
How can I know if my backorder item is mailed out?
Backorder status will be updated in the 'backorder status' page reflecting the item backorder status. You will also receive email updates sent automatically by our system once your order is updated and ready to be shipped out.
What happened when I purchase a backorder along with an in-stock item?
You can opt for us to mail the instock piece alongside with your backorder item to save on the shipping fees.
Alternatively, you can top up the additional shipping fees for the instock item to be mailed ahead.
If your order is eligible for 'Free Shipping' (spending above $100) and includes backorder items, do note that your in-stock item(s) will be mailed first and all backorder items will be mailed together. Do note that you will enjoy free shipping should we have free shipping promotion period at no minimum purchase.
Do you have a shop where I can collect my items/Can i self-collect my purchases?
Yes, you may opt for self-collection at any of the below pick up points:

Our scheduled deliveries to the stores are every Mondays and Wednesdays, please head down for collection only after receiving an email update from us.
Do you have a size guide?
Measurements are provided for each design online, we measure our items laid flat across/down in inches. You may do the same with your own clothes for a better gauge.
What are the things I need to take note of in caring for my purchases?
We encourage all our items to be hand-washed and detergents/powder used shouldn't be too strong that might cause colours to fade.
We encourage steaming or ironing with low heat. Refer below 'garment care' advice.
GARMENT CARE
Separate your laundry into groups with similar colors:
Hand wash with cold water, rinse and dry well before hanging.
Do wash with a maximum temperature of 30 Degrees Celcius.
Gentle machine whites, darks and colours.
Always rinse your item in cold water before wearing to avoid color runs.
Avoid wearing denims/suede items with light colored items/accessories especially for the first few wears to prevent any colors transfer.
If you are unsure of the maximum temperature of the garment, always be safe and wash with cold water.
Turn your garment inside out before washing.
Always iron on low heat.
Don't
Do not soak.
Do not use too much detergent and softener.
Do not use bleach.
Do not iron prints and embellishments.
Do not leave garments with whites and colored panels soaking for long periods.
Do not drip dry.
Jewellery
When exposed to air for prolonged periods, jewellery products might tarnish.
Avoid touching perfume forjewellery.
DELIVERY AND EXCHANGES
Modes of delivery offered. (Local)
All confirmed orders (without backorder) will be processed for shipping within 2-3 working days. Delivery is carried out during working hours, Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and local public holidays.
We offer standard courier and self-collection.
Standard Courier: $3.00 (2-3 working day to reach your doorstep)

What are the currencies accepted?
All prices are listed in Singapore Dollar. The respective credit card company will convert your currency to SGD.
I've received a defective/incorrect item.
We apologise if we had sent you a defective item. Please email us at ask@sod.com.sg and we will respond within one working day.
All orders for return must be sent to Standard of Dressing within 5 working days of receipt (Singapore).
I've have purchased an incorrect size/an incorrect item.
We provide returns of items due to reasons such as incorrect size and colour purchased.
All orders for return must be sent to Standard of Dressing within 5 working days of receipt (Singapore). Email us at ask@sod.com.sg and we will respond within one working day.
Additional postage charges will be borne by the customer unless an exchange is processed at our retail stores. Do note that online purchases are not applicable for items sold in stores. All online exchanges will be processed online before self-collection at the stores.
There are some discrepancies between the measurements of the item received and the information given.
The piece will only be considered as a defective piece if the measurements of the item received falls outside the range of 0.5"-0.8".

Our office hours are from Monday - Friday, 10am-5pm and we will respond to all emails within one working day. However, there might be instances that your email gets missed, we sincerely apologize for the delay so go ahead and send us a chaser by sending us an email with a different subject head, Do not reply to your original email as that will push your email further back.
